Cash & Check Payment Tracking

Track Every Payment—Not Just Processed Ones

Dental practices don’t operate on card payments alone. Cash and check transactions are still a meaningful part of daily operations—especially for practices participating in cash discount programs.

With Cash & Check Payment Tracking, you can now log and manage these payments directly within your Prahsys dashboard, giving you a complete view of your revenue in one place.

What This Feature Enables

  • Log cash and check payments manually within the dashboard
  • View all transactions—processed and non-processed—in one unified feed
  • Filter and report on payment types for accurate financial tracking
  • Maintain clean internal records without relying on external systems

Designed for the Cash Discount Model

This feature is especially valuable for practices using Prahsys’ Cash Discount Program.

By increasing overall pricing and offering discounts to patients who pay via cash or check, practices can offset processing fees while maintaining transparent pricing.

Now, those discounted transactions can be tracked just as easily as card payments—without being processed through the platform or incurring any fees.

Simple to Log, Easy to Track

  1. Select “Add Payment” from your dashboard
  2. Choose Cash or Check as the payment method
  3. Enter payment details (amount, date, notes)
  4. Save to log the transaction instantly

These payments will appear alongside your processed transactions, clearly labeled by type.

Full Visibility—Zero Processing Fees

Cash and check payments are recorded for internal tracking only. They are not processed through Prahsys and are not subject to any processing fees.

This ensures your reporting stays accurate without impacting your cost structure.

Why This Matters for Your Practice

  • Get a complete picture of your revenue
  • Eliminate fragmented tracking across systems
  • Support your cash discount strategy with better visibility
  • Simplify reconciliation and reporting
