Prahsys Launches PrognosiX AI: Early Access Now Open for Dental Practices

A CBCT scan contains 64,000 shades of grey. The human eye can distinguish about 500. Everything in the remaining 63,500 shades, including nerve position, root structure, and bone detail, is captured in the scan data but invisible without help. Dentists make consequential decisions every day with far less anatomical information than their own scans already contain.

Seeing what the scan already knows
PrognosiX AI uses computer vision to identify and highlight anatomy directly within an existing CBCT scan. It is not generative AI. Nothing is reconstructed or invented. The AI returns color-differentiated 3D segmentation overlays that reveal structures at voxel level, the 3D equivalent of pixel-level resolution. The flagship capability is nerve segmentation: the inferior alveolar nerve mapped precisely in 3D, moving clinicians from estimated to exact on the anatomy that matters most in complex extractions and implant planning.
Just as important is what PrognosiX AI does not do. It makes no diagnosis and generates no findings. It works as a concurrent second reader, a second set of eyes on every scan, while the clinician makes every diagnostic judgment. The anatomy becomes more visible. The doctor decides what it means.
