Dental Advisory Board

Built With the People Who Practice It

PrognosiX is being developed alongside a team of practicing dental clinicians who bring decades of real-world experience to the table. Our advisory board shapes how PrognosiX interprets radiographic data, communicates findings, and fits into the workflows dentists and patients actually use. Their clinical judgment is built into every decision we make.

Meet Our Advisors

Our advisors span general dentistry, prosthodontics, implantology, and dental AI — bringing perspectives from the operatory, the classroom, and the consulting room. Together, they ensure PrognosiX is as useful as it is accurate.

Dr. Amir Guirguis

A 2004 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, Dr. Amir Guirguis brings more than 21 years of clinical experience and a career-long commitment to integrating modern technology into exceptional patient care. He owns and operates practices in both Florida and Ohio. His patient-first philosophy, built on trust, comfort, and a genuinely positive experience, shapes how he evaluates every tool he adopts, including PrognosiX.

Dr. E. Guirguis

Dr. E. Guirguis is a periodontist and implant surgeon with nearly three decades of experience in comprehensive periodontal and implant surgical care. A Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry graduate, he holds both a DDS and a Master of Science in Dentistry with a Periodontics residency. Since 1995, he has owned and operated Periodontal Specialists, Inc. in Westlake, Ohio, where he performs advanced periodontal surgery, full-arch implant solutions including All-on-4, ridge augmentation, bone grafting, and IV sedation. His clinical depth spans the full scope of surgical and restorative periodontics, grounded in decades of hands-on practice ownership and interdisciplinary patient care.

Dr. Edward J. Zuckerberg, DDS, FAGD

Dr. Edward Zuckerberg is a 1978 graduate of NYU College of Dentistry with a career defined by early and consistent adoption of dental technology. He owned practices in Brooklyn and Dobbs Ferry, NY from 1979 to 2013, where his early integration of digital radiography, CAD/CAM, and paperless office systems drew the attention of industry leaders, leading to lecturing, article writing, and beta testing roles with major dental technology companies. His commitment to technology at home proved equally influential: the advanced tech environment he cultivated helped spark his son Mark's early interest in computers, and Mark went on to found Facebook.

Today, Dr. Zuckerberg lectures nationally and internationally on the Oral-Systemic Connection and serves in leadership roles across several oral health organizations: Venture Partner at Revere Partners (the first independent venture fund for oral health), Chief Dental Officer at Viome, and Chief Education Officer at both Cloud Dentistry and Oral BioLife. He is also a Key Advisor for Perceptive Technologies and several other oral healthcare startups, and continues to treat patients part-time in Cupertino, CA. He has co-authored several textbooks and is a frequent contributor to dental journals, webinars, and podcasts.

Dr. Karim Kamel

Dr. Karim Kamel is a prosthodontist, academic faculty member, and one of the more substantive clinical voices in the dental AI space. Across multiple organizations and international borders, he has audited diagnostic methodologies, verified clinical validity, and helped software find its footing in live dental workflows. As a global AI delegate and ambassador for digital dentistry initiatives, he brings the clinical community to the table where the field's future is being written. His measure of any technology is simple: not how sophisticated it is, but how useful it is. That standard guides his work as a Prahsys advisor.

Dr. Nakul Rathi

Dr. Nakul Rathi is a prosthodontist and implant specialist whose training spans a fellowship at New York University and a Master of Science with an Advanced Prosthodontics residency at The Ohio State University — the oldest prosthodontics program in the United States. His two years at OSU's Implant Clinic, which has treated more than 25,000 implant cases, gave him a clinical foundation few can match.
Beyond practice, Dr. Rathi lectures on implant dentistry across dental organizations and was selected as a New and Emerging Speaker by the American Dental Association. He serves as a KOL and faculty member for Carestream, Straumann, Osstem/Hiossen, and Ackuretta, and is co-founder of Get Implant LLC, a Houston-based dental implant company. He currently practices at EZ Dental Clinic and Hi Dental Care in Houston.

Dr. Nidhi Shah

Dr. Nidhi Shah is a practicing general dentist in the United States and Dental Advisor to Prahsys. With more than a decade of clinical experience, she brings deep expertise in restorative and diagnostic dentistry, with a strong focus on integrating emerging technologies into patient care. She is passionate about bridging the gap between clinical judgment and advanced technology. At Prahsys, Dr. Shah provides clinical guidance on algorithm development, radiographic interpretation, and user experience design, helping ensure that the company’s AI tools transform complex radiographic and CBCT data into clear, visual, and educational insights that are easy for both clinicians and patients to understand.

Dr. Tony Tran

Dr. Tony Tran is a Houston-based dentist with more than a decade of clinical experience across general dentistry, restorative planning, oral surgery, implants, cosmetic treatment, and teledentistry. As a former practice owner and operator, he understands how dental teams, patients, insurance constraints, and office workflows intersect in the real world. He advises Prahsys with a clear interest: how technology can support better clinical decisions, reduce friction in dental workflows, and preserve the human judgment that patient care depends on.

Dr. Yelisbet Fernandez

Dr. Yelisbet Fernandez is a Miami-based general dentist known for her warm communication style and meticulous clinical approach. Originally from Cuba, she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from UNIBE in the Dominican Republic and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at the University of Florida in Miami, where she received advanced training in restorative dentistry, surgical procedures, and comprehensive treatment planning.
Her clinical scope includes Invisalign, implant placement and restoration, third molar extractions, facial aesthetics, and complex case planning. Her philosophy is straightforward: listen first, treat with intention, and make sure every patient feels informed and genuinely cared for.
